These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to every order you place on sxyfrangrances.co.uk (the “Website”). Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
The Website is operated by SXY Fragrances (“we”, “us”, “our”). [Registered company name, company number and registered office address – or, if you trade as a sole trader, your trading address.]

2. We are an independent reseller
SXY Fragrances is an independent retailer. We buy and resell fragrances, body care, skin care and home fragrance products made by third-party manufacturers and brand owners. In particular:
- We do not manufacture, formulate, fill, package or label any of the products we sell.
- We are not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the brands whose products appear on the Website, unless we clearly say otherwise.
- All brand names, product names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the genuine products we sell.
- Product descriptions, ingredient lists, sizes, usage instructions and safety information are supplied by the manufacturer or brand owner. We take care to reproduce them accurately, but packaging and formulations can change. The information printed on the product you receive always takes priority over the Website.
- The manufacturer is responsible for the formulation, safety testing, labelling and regulatory compliance of its products. If you ask us, we will tell you who the manufacturer or importer of any product is.
3. Allergies, skin reactions and product use
Fragrances, cosmetics and skin care products can cause sensitivity or allergic reactions in some people. Before using any product you should:
- read the full ingredient list and warnings on the packaging;
- carry out a patch test, particularly if you have sensitive skin or known allergies;
- follow the manufacturer’s directions for use; and
- stop using the product straight away and seek medical advice if irritation or a reaction occurs.
Products are intended for external cosmetic use only. Keep them out of the reach of children, away from heat and naked flames, and store them as directed on the packaging.
4. Our liability to you
As a reseller, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, SXY Fragrances is not liable for:
- allergic reactions, skin sensitivity or other adverse effects arising from a product’s ingredients or formulation, which are the responsibility of the manufacturer;
- any loss or damage caused by using a product other than in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and warnings, or by misuse, incorrect storage or ignoring a failed patch test;
- differences in scent, colour or packaging that come from changes the manufacturer makes, or from natural variation between batches;
- errors in information supplied to us by the manufacturer or brand owner; or
- any business loss, loss of profit or loss of opportunity. Our products are for domestic and private use only.
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order, except where the law does not allow us to limit it.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breach of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including your right to receive goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality); liability under Part 1 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
5. Products and prices
- Product images are for illustration. Packaging may differ slightly from the images shown.
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
- We do our best to make sure prices are correct. If we find an obvious pricing error after you have ordered, we will contact you. You can then either go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
- All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities per customer.
6. Placing an order
When you place an order, we will email you to confirm that we have received it. This is not acceptance of your order. A contract between you and SXY Fragrances is formed only when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we will refund any payment in full.
You must be 18 or over to place an order on the Website.
7. Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, [payment providers, e.g. Stripe / PayPal / Klarna]. We never see or store your full card details.
8. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom [and any other countries you ship to]. Delivery options, costs and estimated times are shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed, but if your order has not arrived within 30 days we will refund you in full.
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Some fragrances contain alcohol and are classed as hazardous for transport, so a small number of products may have restricted delivery options.
9. Your right to cancel (14 days)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive your goods. To cancel, email us at [email address] with your order number. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
For health protection and hygiene reasons, you cannot cancel for sealed fragrances, cosmetics, skin care or body care products once you have unsealed them after delivery, for example by removing cellophane wrapping or a seal, or by using the product. Unopened items in their original condition and packaging can be returned.
We will refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or proof that you have sent them back. Unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you pay the cost of returning them. We may reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what was needed to check them.
10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, leaking, faulty or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of delivery, or after that to a repair or replacement and, if that is not possible, a refund. Where the goods are faulty or not as described, we will cover reasonable return postage.
11. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions, free gifts and discount codes are subject to availability and any conditions stated with the offer. They cannot be exchanged for cash and, unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined. Free gifts are not refundable and must be returned with the qualifying purchase if it is returned.
12. Use of the Website
The content of the Website, including its design, text and graphics, belongs to SXY Fragrances or is used under licence. You may view it for personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, scrape or misuse it. Brand names and trade marks belong to their owners, as set out in section 2.
13. Your personal information
We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.
14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform that are caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier or postal disruption, severe weather, strikes or supplier failure. If this happens we will contact you as soon as possible. If there is a substantial delay, you may cancel and receive a refund for anything you have paid for but not received.

16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on the Website when you placed it.
17. Law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
